Cracklins. Deep fried pork skin. I swear to god.
First of all, I got these in the mail from an Internet Stranger. They came from New Orleans.
I wasn’t sure if these things could “go bad” or whatever, because like, meat? you know? i don’t know, but i tried one anyways.
*OH YEAH BUT WAIT! when these came to my mailbox, they stunk it up THROUGH THE ENVELOPE! I’m not joking! And then when I brought them into my apartment, they stunk up my living room! THROUGH THE ENVELOPE! Oh, and they were just in a normal like, sandwich bag…?
So I opened them up and ate one. I had one bite, and then my mouth rejected it and it just dropped out of my mouth. Not good.
These deep fried pork skins were not good.
I should have known better.
(but hey! I’m glad I got them! what a nice surprise!)
